Where are you from?
Mike and I are lucky enough to live in the beautiful Heber Valley in Utah. Both of us were born in Utah but raised in large cities. The first time we saw Heber City, we knew that was where we wanted to land. Mike built the home on the farm where we live. We raised our 6 children in Heber and have loved it well. The lavender farm came later but was a natural fit. It's stunning here!

Why do you do what you do?
What motivates you?
We farm together because it brings us great joy! Who knew? The first acre of lavender we planted was an experience we never anticipated. We loved it every step of the way. Farming is really hard, but there is nothing like the satisfaction of doing this together every day. We love the rewards of standing in a field of fragrant blooms, harvesting, and then distilling. It's all magical, really.

We both grew up in hard working families. It's just what we do. The passion comes from the satisfaction of knowing we did all of the work - from planting to marketing. When we use one of our products, and are able to look at one another knowing it's really, really good - it's that deep satisfaction of knowing we succeeded!

So many things - really. It started with building our courage and anchoring our confidence. From there, they've given us the gift of believing in what we do so that we are running, instead of limping, to a successful venture. Working with really talented teams of professionals as they mentor and support us in the development of the online store and website have been the greatest support of all!

We are truly a Farm to Door company. We plant it, we tend it, we harvest it, we process both bud and oil. We produce, package, and delivered every product to you with all of the care that we can offer. Every last drop of every product, whether it's culinary lavender, personal care, or household products is unique, small batch, and fresh! We endeavor to bottle up, for you, the same experience we have -nothing short of magic!

What has been the hardest part of your journey so far?
With every good thing comes opposition, right? No hesitation in saying it's weeds. We grow organically, and weeding is done by hand. Lavender is not a competitive plant, so it takes vigilance and hard work to weed, every year, so that the plants can do their best...and they do!

What does healing the world look like to you?
It looks like a crisp and cool summer morning, standing between sweetly laden plants buzzing with bees and butterflies. The osprey near our field are calling out a morning greeting, and we slowly turn to take in unsurpassed mountain views. There's nothing like it! Our world is knowing, every single day, that it doesn't get better than this. After thirty years, we can truly say that as we drive down our lane, it still catches our breath, and we know we are truly blessed.
