Lourdes is a married woman who works hard to support her family and her dream to save enough for the future. She has a buy-and-sell processed foods business in the Philippines. Her business is being sustained through her own efforts and with the help of the loans she gets from Kiva.

Geronima is a hard-working entrepreneur who has a business buying and selling tobacco in the Philippines. Geronima has been sustaining her business activities through her own efforts with the help of the loans she gets from Kiva. She dreams of building and developing her business to secure her family.

Corazon is 62 years old, married and has five children. She has a poultry business in the Philippines. She's planning to add more chicks, buy more feed and other supplies to raise her chickens to produce eggs to sell. To support her family, she manages a hotel where she offers traditional dishes, snacks, tea, and other items that are selling very well. She enjoys her business since it has allowed her to develop both personally and financially, allowing her to provide for her family.

Kymbat is this incredible woman. She is 48 years old, married, and the mother of two kids. She graduated from high school and is a genuinely hardworking and entrepreneurial person. Her major source of income has been her profession in the hostel industry since 2004.

Anecia

Anecia is from Dulag, a small town in the Philippines. She is the mother of a child who is now an adult. She has a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells eggs, seasonings, edible oil, diverse canned products, biscuits, soft drinks, and among other things. In addition to having a store, Anecia also caters cuisine to the local community from her home.

Meet Alice, a loving mother. Her smile indicates that life has been kind to her and that she has every reason to be cheerful. She works as an agricultural producer in a small village in Bomet. Alice is absolutely set on making her ambition of becoming a prosperous farmer a reality.

Pauline is a 50-year-old small-scale farmer. She's been farming for a few years now. Milk and maize have been her main source of funds. She has gained a lot of experience over the years and is regarded as one of the greatest farmers in her village. Pauline is a dedicated farmer who enjoys growing her farm.

Agustinha is modest, hardworking, 52 years old, and married. She has amazing skill and experiences with East Timor traditional woven cloths called tais, and she makes a living from it. Her weaving shop, which she has been running for many years now,.

Bonifacia

Bonifacia lives in the town of Dumanjug, Cebu (Philippines). She manages a variety store business as well as a water refilling station. She sells goods ranging from eggs, seasonings, edible oil, assorted canned goods, biscuits, and soft drinks.

Florida

Florida is a resident of Carles, Iloilo (Philippines). She is 71 years old and married. To earn an income, she and her husband operate a rice mill services. Aside from this, the couple also has a farm for additional income.

Nelphy has a construction supply business in the Philippines and has been in this business for 3 years. She has requested a loan through NWTF to buy additional materials needed for her construction supply business.

Elves is a married woman with three children and a very hardworking entrepreneur. She sells dried fish in the Philippines and has been in the business for already 16 years. She would like to expand her business in the future.

Ruby Mae is 31 years old and a resident from Philippines. She has rented a stall and sells fresh eggs. She also sells frozen products and electronic top-up loads. She has one young child. The income that she will generate will be for her child's needs, like school fees, and for healthy daily food consumption and re-investment in the same project.

Ma. Thelma is 61 years old and widowed with three children. She is a diligent mompreneur that still provides for her family. Ma. Thelma runs a general store business in the Philippines. She has been in this business for 7 years already, and would like to buy additional items like canned goods, chips, personal care products, etc. to sell in her store.

Dioscora is a married woman from Leyte, Philippines.For the past years, she and her husband have run a small family farm as a means of livelihood. They focus on growing vegetables in their farm. Through Kiva, she will be provided with a loan to buy seeds and fertilizer for their plants to allow them to have a more bountiful harvest.

She is looking for funds in Kiva to purchase additional materials, like thread, cloth, needles, etc., for her tailoring services. She is working tirelessly toward the attainment of her dream: to save enough to secure the future of her family.

Liza has been in pig fattening business for three years now and has borrowed five times in the past from NWTF to sustain it.

Leydi is a hardworking and enterprising woman who is continuously striving to provide a better life for her three children. It's been difficult for her to do it all by her own, but her courage and care for her children are stronger than any obstacle.

Faith

Faith is happily married and the mother of three children. She works as a landlady in one of Thika's towns, a job she enjoys doing because it provides her with a steady income. However, due to competition, Faith must ensure that she renovates her rental units so that her customers can continue to live there.

Angelita

Angelita is a mother of seven children and a widow. She is an entrepreneur that works extremely hard for her children who are in school. In the Philippines, she runs a fruit buying and selling business. She desired to save up enough money to be able to send her children to college.

Angeles

Angeles is 77 years old, married, and the mother of six children. She works extremely hard to support her family. She owns and operates a rice business in the Philippines. She also sells charcoal and to generate more income for her family.

Daisy

Daisy owns a farm where she raises livestock and plants various crops. She also has a side business that brings in some income. She is a 22-year-old single mother from a remote village in Kenya's Molo area. She has managed to provide her family a solid start by providing them with a good quality of life as a result of her daily hard work.

Melody is a 26-year-old single mother with two children. Melody has been operating a bicycle transportation service in the Philippines for the past two years. For her business, she desires on buying bicycle spare parts and maintenance.

Sheila

Sheila is a hardworking mompreneur with two children. Her business is buying and selling of oysters in the Philippines. She's been in this business for nine years.

Romela

Romela is a married woman, 47 years old with six children. She has a food vending business in the Philippines specifically selling delicacies. Romela has been in this business for three years.

Lenie

Lenie is a 27-year-old married woman with two children. She has a business buying and selling bamboo in the Philippines. She has been in this business for five years and she would like to save money to expand her business.

Dioscora is a hardworking entrepreneur in Leyte, Philippines with seven children. She operates a dress making shop and has been in the business for 20 years already. She wanted to improve and expand her business that's why she requested a loan from kiva to buy more cloth and tailoring materials.

Nonie

Nonie is a persevering entrepreneur. She wakes up at dawn to buy fruits and vegetables to sell in the morning. She has been doing this for the past years and never gave up for her family. With the help of the loan from Kiva, she can start slowly working on her dream which is to have huge and more stalls!
