Tell us a little bit about you. Where are you from?
I’m Marius from the Pearl of the Orient Seas – the Philippines! I have a degree in Accounting Technology. I love to start my day sitting and staring blankly while having a cup of coffee. I love to play sports such as volleyball and badminton, and recently enjoyed joining running events with my friends.

Why do you do what you do? What motivates you?
Where did your passion come from?
In the middle of last year, I had a shift in career from working in a government agency in the Philippines to working remotely. I’m thankful because through Soul Seed, I’m able to practice a work that is finally related to accounting and numbers. I now have the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise most especially to women entrepreneurs. Being able to see women entrepreneurs strive to thrive in their business, I too, am motivated to continue learning in my area of expertise to be able to also share this to other people in ways that they can easily understand.
I believe my passion come out of my desire to extend help in my own little way to other people and be able to see them reach their goals as well.

What has been the hardest part of your journey so far?
I think the hardest part of my journey so far is being bombarded with thoughts of not being enough and capable of what I do which led me to be less confident with my expertise. It’s been a cycle every time I am assigned to do something out of my comfort zone, but thankfully I’m able to always conquer it and learn how to work with it which I believe contributed to my personal growth as well. This is made possible also with the people and environment I surround myself with.

Healing the world looks like to me when every single person will have a mindset of showing love and kindness to one another and not asking for anything in return. The good that you do others will always come back to you in many different ways.

Any last-minute thoughts?
Soul Seed Academy is really a blessing to me and I believe to the women entrepreneurs it continues to help because it is not just a typical company who offers professional services, but more so, a community where we can hone our skills and find people who supports and uplifts each other up.
