Question 3
Where did your passion come from?
What did you build in Soul Seed Academy?
While in Soul Seed Academy, I was able to build my dream of owning a birth center where women could gather and find life-long friendships while receiving resources that are very much needed. While in labor with my oldest, I realized how unprepared we were to have a baby. We had done all of the classes through the hospital and both knew how to take care of our baby after she arrived, but there was so much more we needed. That was the spark that got me interested in birth work. From then on my goal was to become a doula and help women and families know their options and have a voice in the way they brought their children into the world.

Question 4
Tell us about your business.
How does it work?
In October 2023, I opened The Utah Birth Place. A place where women and families can not only give birth but find their village. The Utah Birth Place is unlike any birth center in Utah. We allow you to bring any midwife you are comfortable with to give birth in a beautiful space. Not only that you can find trusted midwives, doulas, lactation support, massage, essential oils, books, classes and so much more! It's a one stop shop for all things prenatal through postpartum and beyond. We have guest speakers that focus on birth but also women's health all the way through menopause.

Question 6
What does healing the world look like to you?
I believe we can heal the world if we start with the heart, mothers. They teach the next generation and keep things running in families and villages. They can be tough when needed but are always a soft place to land.
