Question 2

Why do you do what you do?
What motivates you? Where did your passion come from?

My hands-on experience in construction helped me realize how much I loved transforming a space. While cleaning one day, I remembered a specific moment from when my mom was going through cancer treatment, and I decided to deep-clean the bathroom to surprise her. When she came home, she lit up. She felt cared for, seen, and loved. That moment stuck with me. It reminded me that cleaning can be more than a task. It can be an act of service and connection. That’s what inspired me to start a cleaning business that helps people feel peace and pride in their homes.

Question 3

What did you build in Soul Seed Academy?

At Soul Seed Academy, I completely reimagined and rebuilt my business from the ground up. I came in with scattered ideas, an outdated brand tied to a toxic relationship, and very little confidence in my vision. With Soul Seed’s support, I found clarity, encouragement, and the tools to bring my ideas to life. I rebranded from L2 Cleaners to something that felt 100% mine, and with the help of the creator team, I claimed my new title as Fleur de Clean. I also walked away with a brand guide, a logo that captured exactly what I had in mind, and the confidence to move forward. Soul Seed didn’t just help me build my business. They helped me believe in myself again.

Question 4

Tell us about your business.
How does it work?

My business is built on personalization. I don’t offer set rates because every home, every person, and every idea of “clean” is different. Instead, I offer complimentary in-home consultations where I get a feel for the space and talk with the client about what’s overwhelming, what’s worked in the past, and what their goals are. From there, I create a custom plan whether that’s a one-time deep clean, ongoing maintenance cleans, or even helping build systems and routines to support their lifestyle. It’s important to me that clients feel safe and understood, so I use that first consultation to make sure it’s a good mutual fit. Many of my clients become like family because of the personal connection we build. I don’t just clean homes, I help people feel taken care of in their space.

Question 5

What has been the hardest part of your journey so far?

One of the hardest parts has been fixing my relationship with money by learning to charge what my services are really worth and not being afraid to ask for fair compensation. Soul Seed Academy, especially Sarah, helped me work through that mindset and gave me permission to value myself and my work. Another big challenge has been hiring. Finding the right people who align with my values and work ethic has taken time. But now, I have the tools and clarity to attract the kind of team I really want—and that’s made a huge difference.

Question 6

What does healing the world look like to you?

For me, healing the world starts at home. I believe that when someone wakes up in a space that feels peaceful and grounding, it sets the tone for how they show up in the world. If your environment is chaotic or overwhelming, it’s hard to be present, kind, or generous. But when your home is a place where you can recharge, de-stress, and feel at peace, it fills your cup so you can pour into others. My way of healing the world is by helping people create that haven. When home becomes a place of calm and connection, people carry that energy into everything they do.

Question 7

Any last-minute thoughts?

One thing I’d add is that I offer flexible payment options. I never want anyone to feel like they can’t afford to feel peace and comfort in their own home. Even if a service doesn’t fit your budget right away, I offer low monthly payments to make it accessible. I truly believe everyone deserves a home they feel proud of, and I’ll always find a way to make that possible.
