Thanks to grant funding, enrollment is covered for the next 8 Utah business owners wanting to hire their first employee by February 2025.
This program is covered by two different grants; Utah Economics Grant (UEG) and Utah Custom Fit (UCF). The UEG covers $8,000 and is immediately applied for the next 8 students. The UCF grant and Soul Seed Academy’s scholarship fund will cover the remaining cost.
You must live in Utah and provide proof that you have hired your first W2 Employee by the end of February 2025 to receive both grants. It must be your FIRST W2 employee with this specific business. If you have an independent contractor working for you and you change their position to a W2 position, that will count.

Get the support you need!
Our PROVEN curriculum takes you from overworked and burnt out to thriving with a structured support team around you.
Talk with one of our program leaders about the program, your business, and make sure it feels like a good fit!
Complete your grant paperwork. We’re here to help with questions and information, so you don’t need to do it alone.
Attend the program and work through the content. This is a Done-With-You program, so we’ll be in class with you each week answering questions and guiding you through it.
Hire your first employee! This is done while you’re still going through the cohort, so we can help you find the right applicant and get them set up for success.
You get continued support through the first full year of having your employee. We’ll teach you the ins and outs of being an employer while you onboard your new hire. After the program ends, you’ll still receive:
• Bookkeeping assistance for 6 months (up to 50 hours).
• Payroll setup and payroll fees are covered for 6 months.
• Creator night access; that’s 10 hours to work with our in-house team on whatever you need!
• You’ll also receive 2 1:1 strategy sessions with our founder, Sarah.

Soul Seed Academy had the honor of helping her hire her first employee and she’s working towards hiring and mentoring more talented cleaners for her team. FAQs
Start when your business is ready to level up!
Don’t fret. With the help of Soul Seed Academy, we can get your program covered (or mostly) by grants & scholarships!
The two different grants that we use are Utah Economics Grant (UEG) and Utah Custom Fit (UCF). Utah Economics Grant will cover $8,000 immediately when accepted into the program. The second grant is through Utah Custom Fit which can cover an estimated $2,000 up to $6,000. After completing the grant paperwork with the help of our registration office and once approved by UCF, the remaining amount will be covered by a scholarship provided by Soul Seed Academy.
If you follow all the grant and scholarship steps this program will be fully covered through state grants and scholarships offered by Soul Seed Academy.
Along with the guidance, templates and mentorship, we’re actually going to give you financial services you’d pay big bucks for anywhere else!
